Figure Drawing class Join this Berkeley Adult School class to study figure drawing in a supportive group atmosphere. All levels welcome. The class meets at 1pm on Fridays (via Zoom right now because of C-19, but possibly in person in a while). At the beginning of each class as a group we discuss and watch short educational videos about drawing, on such topics as proportion, shading, perspective, line quality, etc. Then we draw from online models as a group for an hour or more. We also work independently and copy Old Master drawings, and do other drawing projects, such a self portraits. We share our drawings with the group only if we feel like it, there are no grades or pressure in the class. If you would like to come and see, you can join us as a guest for one class time without paying tuition. Drawing: Figure Drawing Focus on increasing your observational and technical skills as you develop your own personal style. We will study via Zoom until social gatherings are permitted, using models, online images, video tutorials and Old Master drawings.
