101 Mobility, the nation’s largest Mobility and Accessibility equipment for the aging and disabled is seeking a full-time installation/service technician to work from their North Miami location. Hours offered are Mon-Fri 8:30-5. Responsibilities: • Provide service and repair to Stairlifts, VPLs, and other related Mobility Equipment that we provide. • Install ramps, VPLs, auto lifts, Stairlifts, and assist with home remodeling for ease of access for disabled persons. • Maintain inventory. • Schedule service calls and deliveries based on work orders. • Contact customers and provide in-home technical assistance. • Deliver first-rate customer service. Qualifications: • Organized. • Follows instructions well. • Candidates must be mechanically inclined. • Must be able to safely lift 100 lbs. • Safely load equipment in an orderly and secure manner. • Have a clean driving record. • Computer literacy is a must. • Willingness to work an extended workweek, including some evenings and weekends. • Possess basic mechanical skills, familiar with power and manual Tools. • Must be available to take on-call with other field service staff. Candidates must have a track record of reliability and be able to be at work on time, all the time. Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) a plus as well as strong internet and data entry skills.
