Sortation 4025 Finch Road, Modesto, CA 95357 CA200 Distribution Center Part-Time Shift(s): TUE WED THU FRI SUN 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Up to 28 hours/week OVERVIEW: Working as Part-Time Sortation, you will help facilitate the movement of product throughout the distribution center to company owned branches. You will organize all outgoing orders by placing packages into the correct shipping containers to prepare for shipment. This is an entry-level position based out of our distribution center located at 4025 Finch Road, Modesto, CA 95357. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Organizing shipments into correct containers o Stacking product in correct locations o Complying with safety regulations REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Proficient written and oral communication skills o Proficient computer skills o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency o Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment o Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment o Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs o Ability to pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Prior experience operating a forklift ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to approximately 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
