MORRISTOWN, NJ — The Morris County Tourism Bureau announced Thursday the return of its popular heritage walking tour program for Fall 2021.
Anyone who attends will get a chance to learn about the history, people and architecture of Morris County with a knowledgeable guide. Returning after a pandemic hiatus, these small group tours will run between Sept. 18 and Oct. 30, 2021.
Each tour has a different focus and will be led by an expert in the field. All the tours will highlight a different era in the county's three-hundred long year history. The tour series concludes with a "costume" party for Halloween with a tour through Morris County's first graveyard located in Whippany off Route Ten East.
Pre-registration and pre-payment are required, and no walk-ins will be accepted. Tickets cost $20 - $25 per person and the tours will sell out, so register early.
Tickets can be purchased online from Eventbrite.com beginning August 18th. Contact the Morris County Tourism Bureau at 973-631-5151 or [email protected].
