Press release from the City of Wheaton: August 19, 2021 Between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021 several roads will be closed for the Wheaton North Marching Band's March-a-thon, where they will be traveling from the Central Athletic Complex on Naperville Road to Wheaton North High School. They will stop to perform for the community at Memorial Park and Northside Park. The band will travel (see a map of the closures): All roads utilized for this special event will be temporarily closed (10-15 minutes) in most cases to let the band pass. Once the band has cleared the closed roadway, it will immediately be reopened for vehicle traffic. All road closures will have Wheaton Police Department personnel present to assist with any issues.
