LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Fire Protection District and Lemont VFW Post 5819 will host a 9/11 commemoration ceremony on Sept. 11. The ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the fire district, 15900 New Ave. All are welcome to the ceremony, which will reflect on the events of 9/11 20 years ago, and honor those who lost their lives, according to the event flyer.
