Missing Long Beach Man Considered 'At Risk'

LONG BEACH, CA — Long Beach and the family of a missing 22-year-old man are asking for help finding him. According to police Christopher James Timmons is "at risk" due to a medical condition. Timmons, 22, was last seen on Thursday about 3 p.m. leaving a medical facility in the 1000 block of Linden Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department. "He suffers from medical conditions and becomes easily disorientated and confused," police said in a statement. It's not the first time that Timmons has disappeared. He has been found "throughout Southern California," according to police. Timmons is familiar with the area and knows how to use public transportation, which means he could be anywhere in the Southland. Timmons is white, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighs 295 pounds, and has black hair, brown eyes and a beard. He has a tattoo of "LB" on his left hand. He was wearing a light gray hoodie with white and black horizontal stripes, light gray sweatpants and black slip-on sandals.
