Diaper Drive Sponsored By Shorewood Kiwanis Club with the Help of Fellow Businesses One out of every three families has difficulty paying for diapers, which can cost between $75 - $100 per month.  Contrary to popular belief..Diapers are NOT covered by food stamps or WIC.  Families who need to work to support their children...might not be able to do so...because free or subsidized child care requires the family to PROVIDE diapers for any children enrolled in programs for low income families! Parents often have the painful decision of choosing whether to buy food or diapers for their children. All size diapers and pull-ups are needed and appreciated. Several businesses have stepped up as donation drop off sites.
