Press release from the Wright County Government: August 20, 2021 Wright County is asking residents to complete an online broadband survey as part of the data gathering process for the expansion of the county fiber grid with funds from the American Rescue Plan. The project is expected to get underway in 2022, but the process of gathering data has already begun. Preliminary data is coming from the survey which asks Wright County residents their level of satisfaction with the high-speed internet product they are receiving. The goal is to get as many residents from throughout Wright County to take the survey so Design Nine, the consultant hired to provide an assessment of the state of broadband in Wright County, can provide as comprehensive of data as possible.
