Glendora Public Library has something for everyone! All events are proudly presented by the Glendora Public Library and GPL Friends Foundation. Storytime Storytime occurs every Wednesday at 9:30 am and again at 10, outdoors on the Library Plaza between the Library and City Hall. For preschool children ages 0-5. Two seating pads will be provided for each family unit. Spaces are limited, so please call to reserve your spot: 626-852-4891.* If you are feeling unwell or exhibiting any symptoms such as fever, cough or shortness of breath, please do not visit the Library. *If you sign up but then discover later you cannot attend, please notify the Library so we can allow a family from our waiting list.* Novel Idea Novel Idea book discussion group holds its regular bimonthly meeting, now hybrid: in-person* and on Zoom. Battle of the Books September 30, 6:00 pm Glendora Public Library Bidwell Forum Glendora Public Library's annual intellectual slugfest between teams of 6th-12th graders returns September 30, LIVE and IN PERSON.* Teams of three read three books and memorize as many facts as possible. Then they stand and deliver in front of an audience, until one team of book trivia champions is crowned. Seating is limited to invitees of team members only. *Face covering is required at all times while inside the Library building. This program is subject to change based on current LA County Department of Public Health Guidelines and other safety needs. Team registration is still open at this link for students who will be in 6th-12th grade this upcoming school year.
