ELMHURST, IL — In the last few days, Elmhurst police charged people with public indecency, a gambling violation, shoplifting and driving with a suspended license. Here is information from the reports:
Public indecency
Joseph A. Stella, 27, of Bensenville, was arrested about 5 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of South York on a charge of public indecency. He was released on bond. According to a police report, police responded to a report of a man exposing his genitalia. The officers identified the man as Stella. Gambling charge
Peter Mathew, 61, of Des Plaines, was cited about 3 p.m. Monday on a charge of operating a gambling device. He was released on bond. According to a police report, Peter was cited for owning a gambling device with an expired permit at Shell gas station, 301 W. Butterfield Road. Shoplifting
Jeril U. Bush, 48, of Maywood, was arrested about 5:30 p.m. Monday at Jewel, 153 E. Schiller, on a DuPage County Sheriff's Office warrant and a charge of retail theft. He was released on bond. Driving violations
Rafael C. Ramos, 30, of Chicago, was arrested about 6 p.m. Wednesday at York and North on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle and failure to yield turning left.
