Press release from the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board: 2021-08-20 Due to lifeguard shortages, Lupient Water Park will be closed for the season as of Monday, August 23.  New aquatic facilities and guarded beach hours for Monday, Aug. 23 through Monday, Sept. 6 are as follows: Aquatic Facilities North Commons Water Park: Open 4 to 7pm Monday through Friday, 1 to 7 pm Saturday and Sunday. Open Monday, Sept. 6, 1 to 7 pm. *Webber Natural Swimming Pool: Closed Mondays, open 4 to 7pm Tuesday through Friday, 1 to 7 pm Saturday and Sunday. Open Monday, Sept. 6, 1 to 7 pm. Beaches with lifeguard service Lake Nokomis Main Beach: 4 to 7pm Monday through Friday, 1 to 7 pm Saturday and Sunday. Monday, Sept. 6, 1 to 7 pm *If Webber Natural Swimming Pool is unable to open due to water quality issues, Lupient Water Park will reopen and be free of charge on any days Webber is closed.
