FREMONT, CA — A small kitten was rescued from a storm drain in the Ardenwood area of Fremont Tuesday evening. Firefighter Tony Trujillo, Engineer Allan Diaz, and Captain Osh Ahmad removed the heavy grate covering the deep drain. It was Trujillo who performed the rescue. Fremont Fire Dept.The kitten was pulled to safety. Fremont Fire Dept.Is it just us, or is this kitten gazing adoringly at its hero rescuer?
