Description

We are looking to hire Field Data Collectors in the city of Sarasota, FL for a few weeks of work (40 hours/week). Map Data Collection Project (related to GIS - geographic information systems) 2-4 week contract $17/hr (40 hours/week) We are currently working to collect map data across a number of cities in Florida. The collection of map data involves driving to pre-identified apartment complexes, introducing yourself at the property management office, taking a photo of the property map, and collecting a short series of answers from the property management regarding package deliveries. This is a short term project. You may be invited to travel to other collection cities throughout the state after the initial collect if you are comfortable driving further distances. Responsibilities: • Must be polite and courteous and be comfortable with public interactions • Follow security procedures to safeguard self and equipment • Able to read and understand instructions written in English • Able to read maps to locate destinations and find the fastest route to arrive at destination • Able to report issues on data collection hindrances Qualifications: • Ability to email with file attachments • Must have reliable personal vehicle and driver’s license • Strong problem-solving skills • Ability to prioritize and multitask • Deadline and detail-oriented • Good physical condition with stamina for walking and driving Please send an email with your contact info and a resume as well as your availability to speak with me - we are looking to have individuals start work as soon as Wednesday 8/25.
