Job description About us INH Companies, Mankato has 4 rental properties in Mankato and continues to grow. Currently we have just under 200 rental units locally and this includes tax credit and market rate properties. Part-time onsite Caretaker/Cleaner INH Companies is seeking an Onsite Caretaker/Cleaning Technician to act as an on-call caretaker for our Mankato properties and live onsite at one property. This part-time position is compensated with a partial rent credit towards rent. (Rent credit is $650/month and rent is $1,300/month for a spacious lower level unit with 1.5 bathrooms and an attached single garage). Move-in/position start date will be in September. Caretaker responsibilities include: As the onsite caretaker act as the first contact for after hours issues for assigned Mankato properties (minor maintenance issues, tenants who are locked out, parking lot monitoring, etc.). Complete routine grounds clean-up and common area cleaning of entryways (sweeping/mopping - very small entry areas) at the property where you reside. Assist with other tasks when needed (locking/unlocking doors, etc.). Be on-call weeknights and every other weekend for after hours issues. Actual hours worked for the caretaker role are minimal (not a ton of calls are received) and grounds clean-up/entry way cleaning can be done at times that work well with your full-time work schedule. *If desired additional compensation is available for completing weekly building cleaning at another one of the properties (this requires vacuuming hallways, wiping down door knobs, sweeping out trash/recycling rooms, cleaning windows, and turnover cleaning when needed). This would be 2 days per week for 8-10 hours per week, $15/hr. Qualifications: Previous cleaning experience strongly preferred. Previous customer service experience preferred. Previous experience completing minor maintenance tasks (changing smoke detectors, light bulbs) is preferred. Someone who has full-time work in Mankato/does not consistently travel out of town for work is preferred (must be in Mankato during on-call shifts).
