So, band A runs an ad here on Craigslist looking for a drummer, Their ad was professional, but certainly demonstrated the author was quite frustrated with his prospects. I responded professionally and politely with my willingness to audition for him and his band. But I mentioned my style may not be acceptable. And I told him he wouldn't hurt my feelings if I wasn't the right guy. His response to me was extremely unprofessional and quite rude. Oh well, his loss and my gain. I hope. Good luck out there you "professional" musicians.
