Description
We are seeking motivated individuals to run our operations in the Austin area. • Each morning, review the daily work schedule and carefully review instructions ensuring all special instructions relating to the upcoming job(s) are fully understood • Follow job-site arrival and departure procedures • Perform surface preparation procedures, including diamond grinding, crack repair, expansion joint filling, stain removal, etc., using GFC application equipment and tools • Select the appropriate coating products for application (based on substrate type and condition) • Perform coating application per instructions (and per customer requirements) using the applicable coatings, chips, clear coats, anti-skid products, etc. • Perform repairs if needed • Perform equipment maintenance (including trucks and trailers) • Manage local field crew(s) and take part in the hiring of field crew employees. • Hold regular meetings with field crews ensuring efficient operations and ongoing compliance with safety standards, company SOPs and office policies. • Each morning, oversee truck inventory management ensuring field vehicles box trucks and trailers) contain adequate product, sundries, and equipment for the pending and subsequent work days. • On the first day of each week, inspect crew PPE bags for adequate safety equipment. • Handle incoming calls from field crew(s) & troubleshoot technical problems. • On a monthly basis, ensure the routine & preventive equipment maintenance of non-IMT equipment is performed by field staff and the applicable RM and PM equipment forms are completed. Ensure equipment repairs are performed and documented. • On a monthly basis, perform a thorough inspection of the field crew truck and complete the Truck Inspection Checklist. • On the first day of each week, check the fluids and tire pressure of field vehicles. • Each day, prepare a “To Do List” for field crews and ensure they implement upon their return to the warehouse following installation(s). • Where applicable, complete nonconformance reports (NCRs) and corrective action reports (CARs) for field crew, equipment, and truck nonconformances. • Maintain regular contact with the Office Manager re: job-related issues and emergencies (e.g., cancellations, changes to customer specifications, date changes, customer garage codes). • On a monthly basis, meet with management to overview field operations, staff morale, hiring needs, equipment condition and purchase requirements. • Perform minor repairs including e.g., bubble and chip repairs. • While on-site, inspect completed installations for quality. • Inspect prospective estimates with Estimators, especially complex residential and commercial projects, and provide on-site oversight of larger commercial or complex jobs as needed. • Assist and conduct local field crew training, in-house training and take part in out-of-state training. • Oversee a local field crew of Field Applicators ensuring they follow safety standards and policies • Prior to completing the day, review the job schedule for the subsequent day and prepare materials and equipment accordingly
