Dovetail Custom Wood & Metal manufactures and provides complex installations through-out some of Texas' largest construction projects. We are a successful, fast-pace custom millwork, stone, miscellaneous metals and architectural specialty company. We specialize in large commercial projects such as high-rise hotels, condominiums, restaurants, medical facilities, schools, university buildings, sports complexes and select high-end stores. As a millwork and specialty shop, we work with wood, metal, stone and custom finished products. We are looking for help in our Woodworking and finishing departments where we work with trim, Cabinetry (Plam & Veneer), paneling, banquets and other custom pieces As an employee you would have some of the following responsibilities: -Perform a variety of tasks that require manual material handling and the use of hand tools, machinery and equipment while processing millwork products -Installs hardware such as hinges, catches, and drawer pulls -Fabricate special wooden parts and components as needed -Participates and actively works with others as a team, taking and accepting direction as given -Using a spray gun and tools to lacquer, paint, and topcoat finished products -Applying various stain application techniques -Prepping wood and metals before they go through finish -Additional essential functions may be applicable to specific jobs Typical hours are Mon-Fri from 6:00 am-2:30 pm, with a study stream of overtime opportunities.
