This is a busy and exciting entry level job! Pettit Staffing is now hiring for an entry level Shipping Clerk. This is day shift and pays $15/hr. Great temporary to hire opportunity with a full comprehensive benefit package upon direct hire. Some Responsibilities and Duties: The Shipping Clerk handles administrative duties relating to the receiving, storing, maintaining, shipping and invoicing of our customers inventory. The Shipping Clerk works directly with the warehouse leadership team, associates, and customers. Process and monitor shipping and receiving transactions and documentation, including, but not limited to receipts, bills of lading, orders, confirming shipments for specific customers to ensure timeliness and accuracy. Communicates effectively with transportation, manufacturing, management, co-workers, and customers choosing the proper media (phone, email, face-to-face) Job Requirements: Some customer service or related work in a warehouse environment Microsoft Office software, data entry, and internet application experience.
