We are We GET It! Founded on March 8th, 2020. We're a community of parents of children on the Autism Spectrum. We have 3 chapters: Contra Costa County, Alameda County, and Tri Valley. We meet regularly, virtually and in person with many inclusive events that support the parent, the autistic child, and the neurotypical siblings. We also have a messenger group in real time. Our events at a glance: Twice monthly park playdates Twice monthly coffee for parents Twice monthly parents nights out Monthly dad's club Monthly outing to an indoor space Virtual events are limited to the discretion of the chapter itself We also need admins to help support the chapters. Please reach out to the board once you are in the group and we will be happy to chat with you! We are always interested in expanding to other counties and states, if you want a chapter of our group in your area, please let us know and we will work to make it happen.
