All Star Labor and Staffing is looking for an experienced silk-screener to work for a metal fabrication company located in Eugene, Or. General Description of Job: The Silk screen employee is responsible for assisting and following direction in regards to Safety, Quality, and Production of product that meet our customers’ requirements. Under the direction of the Silk Screen Supervisor inspect incoming parts, clean, ink stamp, silk screen, and package as required to maintain proper production flow of parts in process. Complete paperwork in the MieTrak operating system. Essential Job Tasks: The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: • Handle highly cosmetic parts while preserving cosmetic integrity • Report problems or situations to Department Supervisor in a prudent and timely fashion • Correctly ink stamp parts per customer requirements • Clean and tap holes • Apply touch up paint • Prep screens for printing • Setup fixture table for aligning screen to part for printing • Apply print to parts per customers requirement • Inspect all parts manufactured for quality and efficient production methods, report all inconsistencies to Silk Screen Supervisor. • Abide by Employee Handbook including regular attendance and working cooperatively • Record completed work in the MieTrak system and route work order to its next stage of production Other Job Tasks: • Meet all company requirements relating to the use of the time clock • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Working safely and maintaining quality while producing parts in a timely fashion Knowledge, Skill, and Experience Requirements: • Ability to read blue prints • Be detail oriented • Ability to Multi-task • Be self-directed and motivated • Have good basic math skills Machines and Tools Used: • Measuring tools and devices • Drill and taps • Razor knife • Pressure washer • Vacuum table • Ink stamper • Basic hand tools • Pallet jack Apply at WITH A RESUME PLEASE :)
