Rest-Haven is seeking a full-time cemetery assistant. Job duties include, but are not limited to: opening and closing graves, placing entombments and inurnments, mowing, and general grounds maintenance. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with the ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Experience using equipment such as lawn mowers, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, and backpack blowers is required. Experience operating tractors, backhoes, or other similar equipment is desirable, but we will train the right candidate. Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs unassisted. Must be drug free, including medical and recreational marijuana. Workplace is tobacco/vape free.
