Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of basic building maintenance required either through training or experience. Technical training in a building trade preferred. Experience: Minimum of one year in skilled maintenance work preferred. Technical expertise in one or more building trades preferred. *Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner. Cleans up after work is complete *Performs repairs on the property, including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, knowledge of plumbing, and electrical. *Must have own tools. *Provides on-call maintenance service, as directed. Responds to emergencies, as required. *Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment. *Advises Property Manager of the overall condition of the property. *May be required to maintain a swimming pool or other special facility depending on the property. *Attend staff in-services and meetings as requested by the Property Manager.
