Summary: Sagamore Spirit is seeking a reliable teammate to fill the role of Fulfillment Specialist. This is a full-time position on the Packaging Team. The Packaging Team is a 3-part team; encompassing all packaging, barreling, and warehouse operations. The Fulfillment Specialist will assist warehouse operations; with his or her primary responsibility being fulfillment and related inventory. This role requires the ability to work well both on a team and independently, a deep understanding of inventory management, and experience with shipping and receiving. The ideal candidate will have a mind for accuracy and attention to detail and will be ready and willing to dive in wherever needed. Scope of Position but not limited to: *Accurately receive POS materials into inventory by comparing items and quantities against purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, or other related records. Note and communicate any discrepancies. *Store and organize inventory within the allotted space in the warehouse; making room for new items as *necessary. Label all items with their item number and know your inventory. *Utilize web-based order platform to fulfill teammate orders. Accurately pick items ordered. *Safely pack items for shipment and keep track of supplies; boxes, tape, packing paper, bubble wrap, etc. *Utilize FedEx, UPS, or USPS as appropriate. Keep shipping costs down by using the best method and appropriate box size. *Log inventory removals in Excel. *Assist with monthly inventory audits; investigating, evaluating and resolving discrepancies. *Help keep space clean, move pallets, stock warehouse and bottling line, move empty barrels, and other various duties. Skill Requirements: *Attention to detail: Double check everything; shipments, removal logs, packing slips, BOLs, and inventory for accuracy. Be able to identify inventory discrepancies and resolve any variances if they occur. *Multi-tasking: Capable of handling multiple orders and projects. *Time management: Fill and ship all orders to meet the required the deadline. Ability to plan work flow for successful completion of all tasks. *Organizational skills: Capable of “owning” POS inventory and the organization of items within their allotted space. Will re-organize and condense as needed. *Dependability: Arrives to work on time. Follows instructions; responds to management direction; keeps commitments. The desire and capability to succeed. Requirements: *Over the age of 21 *1+ years of experience with inventory audits, fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and Excel *Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs., *with or without reasonable accommodation. *May be required to operate (electric) pallet jack.
