SCREEN PRINT SHOP; Heat Press Printer/Operator AOV Inc. in Boulder, Colorado, is seeking an Heat Press Printer/Operator and general shop help for our Screen Print, Embroidery, and Promotional Products team. Heat Press Printer/Operator Responsibilities: The Heat Press Printer/Operator is responsible for performing all of the functions necessary to produce embellishments on apparel for AOV orders by applying heat activated embellishments to customer requested products. Accurately read work orders Obtain final approval prior to production Verify number of units, arrange garments correctly, verify logo placement Correctly and efficiently set up heat press and garments prior to applying embellishments Load garments straight and accurately for proper logo placement Place heat transfers correctly on garments according to heat transfer material and temperature specifications Maintain accuracy, quality and promptness in producing products Quality control; inspect closely for quality issues & correct as necessary Notify supervisor of problems, issues, shortages or misprints Employee must keep heat press area clear of trash and debris Basic Qualifications: High School Graduate or GED Available to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 7AM - 4 PM & overtime as needed Physical requirement - ability to bend, twist, reach, lift materials up to 30 lbs Good eye / hand coordination Good vision and the ability to detect slight differences in colors required Able to stand for long periods of time on concrete flooring Able to perform assigned tasks in environment with production floor equipment noise Able to work proficiently and efficiently while under pressure and meet strict deadlines Have outstanding punctuality and attendance Excellent attention to detail is a must Basic computer literacy skills Ability to speak, read and follow directions in English
