Job Responsibilities: • Responsible for laying block in a variety of construction projects including but not limited to retaining and fence walls as well as structural masonry. • Clean tools and equipment. • Tie rebar. • Dig holes, ditches, trenches. • Mix cement and/or mortar. • Pull and use grout hoses. • Set up and clean job sites including picking up pallets and disposing of broken material. • Use and operate small power and hand tools. • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Foreman. Experience, Educational, and Additional Requirements: • Must work safely and be a hard worker. • Must be willing to work on both residential and commercial job sites. • Must be able to work on scaffold. • Must be able to work at a fast pace and remain calm under pressure. • Must have transportation to move from job to job throughout the day. • Must provide the own tape measure and know how to read measurements. • Must be able to lift 90lb. • OSHA 10 card required. • Must be able to safely work in hot and cold temperatures on Construction job sites. • Bilingual preferably English & Spanish. • Pass a mandatory drug test. Español Responsabilidades esenciales del trabajo: • Responsable de colocar diferentes tipos de bloque en diferentes de proyectos incluyendo, pero no limitado a muros y mampostería estructurada. • Limpiar herramientas y equipos. • Amarrar cabillas (Tie rebar) • Abrir huecos, excavar. • Mezclar cemento. • Usar mangueras de la pompa de cemento. • Mantener el sitio de trabajo limpio y tirar la basura. • Operar herramientas pequeñas. • Realizar otras tareas adicionales asignadas por el Foreman. Experiencia educación y requerimientos adicionales: • Estar de acuerdo con trabajar en trabajos residenciales y comerciales. • Poder subirse en andamios. • Trabajar de manera segura y tener buena ética de trabajo. • Debe tener la capacidad de entender y leer medidas. • Debe tener transportación disponible al trabajo y de regreso. • Debe poder trabajar rápido y mantener la calma bajo presión. • Debe poder levantar 90 libras. • Tarjeta de OSHA 10 requerida. • Debe poder trabajar en temperaturas altas y bajas en los sitios de construcción. • Bilingüe, preferiblemente Ingles y Español. • Pasar test de drogas mandatorio.
