JOB DESCRIPTION Field Service Technician Department: Technical Full-Time Position Summary Miatech located in Oregon is the leader in designing, manufacturing, installing, and servicing perishable control equipment. To learn more about Miatech please visit our website at www.miatech.org As a Field Service Technician with Miatech, you will need to provide superior customer service as you troubleshoot equipment and deliver solutions. Working at our customer's facility, our service technicians are responsible for preventive maintenance, service, installation, and customer training to ensure customer satisfaction. You will maintain the proper parts and supplies in your service vehicle to have the necessary tools on hand. The workday typically starts from your home and driving to job sites. Driving can take up about 50% of your daily duties, please keep this in mind when applying. Responsibilities and Duties • Receive dispatched service calls as assigned and ensure prompt response based on the estimated time of arrival • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot/diagnose, and service equipment following the Company’s operating procedures • Document all work performed and close out all activities upon completion in our mobile app • Maintain a professional appearance and follow established safety standards • Consistently present a professional image, both in personal appearance and condition of company equipment • Professionally communicate to customer services performed • Provide feedback to the Company through reporting of problems and failures to appropriate personnel for resolution Competencies Skills: • Mechanical and electronic aptitude • Customer relations, interpersonal relationships, team relations, and service-oriented • Strong organizational and time management skills • Must be a self-starter, work with minimal supervision and be able to accomplish tasks on time Requirements: • No experience is needed, we provide training to candidates that meet the above aptitudes • Valid driver’s license with proof of an excellent driving record, since we provide a company car Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift, up to 75 pounds • Position requires driving to and from customer sites daily.
