We are a small commercial painting company that is growing in size. Our company has an opening for a full-time warehouse manager and delivery driver. This position is critical to the success of our company. Warehouse Job Duties: Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing policies and procedures. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts. Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, cleaning, and issuing work orders for repair and replacement. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Other duties will include mixing paint colors, cleaning equipment, and basic spray equipment repair. Delivery Driver Job Duties: Delivering and picking up paint, materials, and equipment to job sites throughout the Chicagoland area. Must be available some Saturdays. Early AM start is expected to make the routes downtown, so experience navigating throughout the downtown area is a plus. Vehicles include a Sprinter Van and Chevy Express Van. Safety and punctuality are imperative. Skills and Qualifications Needed: Experience in the paint industry or retail paint industry is a plus but not required. A clean driving record and the ability to drive safely is a must. No CDL required. A drug screen and criminal background check will be performed. Benefits include 401(k), paid time off, and the ability to have health insurance. Hourly pay will be commensurate on experience, and overtime is available but not guaranteed.
