The City of Black Hawk is currently accepting applications for a full-time Fleet Technician I or II. Under the direction of the Fleet Supervisor, Skilled work in the maintenance and repair of City equipment, including light, medium, and heavy-duty automobiles, trucks, and equipment. Work includes maintenance and repair of emergency equipment, including fire, police, and ambulance, as well as transit buses.
Minimum qualifications include: HS Diploma or GED; Minimum of two (2) to seven (7) years of experience in automotive or heavy equipment repair preferably in a municipal setting. Class R License and/or Class B CDL with air brakes and P Endorsement and good driving record. Fleet Tech II Must have current ASE Ambulance Technician Level I EVT certification.
Hiring Range for Fleet Tech I $25.20–$28.98, Fleet Tech II $26.46-$30.42 per hour DOQ/E.
