We are a construction company in Fairfax accepting applications for Foreman positions to join our team. Your main responsibility will be to manage and coordinate construction projects. Candidate should have solid experience in construction, confidence, leadership, and ability to make decisions in complex situations. Should be familiar with residential projects as well. Be a true team leader and motivator. Candidate will need to plan, implement, and manage construction tasks in accordance with priorities and goals. Produce employee and project schedules. Manage and monitor members attendance and work. Adhere to relevant safety regulations. Manage and guide the use of machinery and equipment. Candidate must be willing to work long hours as needed. Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines. Requirements: • 3-5 years of experience supervising crews • Excellent knowledge of construction operations and equipment • Experience and knowledge of vertical construction • The ability to layout, form and pour concrete (footings, walls, slabs, etc..) • Familiarity with blueprints • Read and interpret plans (Commercial & Residential) • Time Management skills • Ability to multi-task • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Critical-thinker and problem-solver • Good math skills • Good physical condition • Minimum of High School Diploma • Any additional relevant certification will be considered an advantage Candidate must be fluent in both English and Spanish. Compensation: $30 - $35 (depending on experience)
