Hiring Portland Petitioners Mayor Ted Wheeler has failed to address police accountability, houselessness, and the ongoing lack of basic city services. We’re hiring petitioners to gather signatures for the effort to recall Mayor Wheeler. Our mission is to collect 47,788 valid signatures by October 6th to make sure that Wheeler’s name ends up on the recall ballot; from there, the people of Portland will decide to vote “yes” or “no” to remove him from office. Petitioning experience welcome, but not required. Full-time (30 hours/week+) is preferred and part-time work (20 hours/week) is also available. Compensation ranges from $16/hr to $25/hr depending on experience and location. Interviews Monday 8/23, Tuesday 8/24, or Wednesday 8/25 from 11am-1pm.
