A global logistics company is looking to add a swing shift Sawyers to their team. If you enjoy building things, working with wood, or have a construction background, this is a great job to stay inside from the rain and earn good benefits with a global company. Duties: - Read production schedule, using computer production software - Read cut sheet instructions to make the correct cut - Using a cut sheet, determine the amount, size, and grade of plywood or lumber - Load plywood or lumber onto the machine and have it cut using computerized production software. Machines include various saws such as panel saws, tiger saws, table saws, chop saws, circular saws, etc.) Requirements: - Construction or carpentry experience preferred - Ability to read a tape measure - 1 year prior sawyer experience required, two years of experience preferred. - Must wear steel-toed boots and bring a hammer to work (16 oz or above) Pay and Schedule: - Tuesday – Thursday, 3:00pm-1:30am; Friday, 12:00pm to 10:30pm - Train on day shift for a few weeks. - $22/hour with weekly pay!
