Family owned defense contractor is looking to grow our machine shop in Green Cove springs, FL. We are looking for a Maintenance Technician. Sign-on bonus of $1000 available for qualified candidates. Qualified candidates will have experience with: Industrial Equipment Pneumatics Hydraulics Please have some experience in these common duties; this position will include performing both scheduled, and as-needed upkeep on: Light Electrical Maintenance Light Dry Wall Maintenance Light Plumbing Maintenance Light Carpentry Maintenance Light HVAC Maintenance Experience with automation and welding is a plus but not required. Must be disciplined and able to work quickly and efficiently. We are looking for a mechanically minded self-starter, who does not need micro-managing, but will “measure twice and cut once”. Must have high attention to detail, be comfortable in a fast paced, small business atmosphere, and able to communicate effectively in English. Although our company has been around for over 20 years, this particular facility is relatively new. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor and grow as an important part of a core team. Position is full time in our new, clean, and climate-controlled facility with competitive wage and full benefits package including paid vacation and holidays as well as medical, dental and vision care coverage, 401k, and profit share.
