Are you a well-organized, self-motivated, mechanical-minded individual with a Class A CDL looking for a long-term career in the construction industry? If so, we are looking for you! We are a Southern Wisconsin based construction company with an opportunity in our shop/yard operations. The ideal candidate would be responsible for all aspects of supporting our construction crews including: · Loading and delivery of company owned tools and equipment within DOT regulations and load securement guidelines · Maintenance and repair of company owned tools and equipment (based on capability) · Inspection and record keeping · Help manage our shop inventory · Consolidating company owned tools and equipment after completion of a field project and restocking these items back at our shop/yard · Operating various pieces of construction equipment including telescoping forklifts Requirements for this position include: · Be able to work in a team atmosphere with 3-5 co-workers · Be able to take direction without cause, but be able to bring forth new ideas · Class A CDL · Mechanical background or mechanically inclined · Able to weld – does not have to be certified but capable of becoming certified after employed · Able to lift up to 50lbs, sometimes repetitively · Ability to work outside in the elements year round · Ability to be flexible with start of shift and end of shift hours as needed We offer a stable, long-term opportunity with a competitive wage based on experience and ability.
