Description
We are seeking someone who is interested in:
· All phases of Automotive Repairs and Maintenance
· Good knowledge of automobiles
· Detail-oriented and ability to follow direction.
· Prior vehicle maintenance experience encouraged.
· Ability to identify problems quickly
· Effective analytical and communication skills
· Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills
· Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency
· Diagnose and Repair Emission Failures, Engine Repair and Tune Up, Tire Services
· Wheel Alignments, Timing Belts, Transmission and Engine Replacements,
· Steering and Suspension Service, Brake Service and ABS Diagnosis and Repairs, etc.
· Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
· Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
· Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
· Interaction between employees and/or customers; explaining diagnosis and needed repairs as required to assist service writer and/or clarify for customers
· ASE Certification(s) a plus.
Requirements:
· Must have a valid driver's license.
· Ability to reach, lift and carry 20-75 lbs.
· Ability to stand or walk 8+ hours a day.
· Must have own tools.
· Ability to successfully pass background check.
