Seeking individuals who overeat for research study opportunity

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders is looking for volunteers from all backgrounds who overeat or feel out of control when eating to participate in a remote research study. The Eating Disorders Genetics Initiative, or EDGI for short, is a research study to discover the genes that cause eating disorders. The goal of the study is to transform our knowledge about the causes of eating disorders to work toward greater understanding and ultimately a cure. This study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (IRB#19-1378). You may be eligible to participate in this study if: • Are over the age of 18 years old • Experience overeating or feeling out of control when eating
