NorthKey Community Care is seeking a full-time Housekeeping and Cleaning Staff Member to provide daily cleaning and housekeeping duties in a healthcare environment in order to provide a clean and safe working environment for clients, staff, and visitors. This is a 3rd shift position, and work hours are generally Monday-Friday, 6:00 p.m. - 2:30 a.m. The position will be primarily based in Covington. Apply Online at the below website: DUTIES - Responsible for the daily cleaning, upkeep, appearance, and light maintenance needs of NorthKey buildings, including but not limited to buildings/structures, parking lots, grounds, appliances, furniture, and equipment, in order to provide a clean and safe environment of care for clients, staff, and visitors. - Perform duties based on consistent cleaning schedules to appropriately maintain NorthKey property to ensure a clean and safe environment of care. - Address environment of care and cleaning needs as they arise in a timely and efficient manner, and respond to emergency situations related to environment of care needs immediately. - Maintain a current inventory of equipment and supplies used by the environmental services department. - Verify that all equipment works properly and is in safe working condition at all times, and conduct repairs on any equipment. - Ensure compliance with all operational, environmental, and other regulatory and policy compliance requirements, including all appropriate state, federal, and accrediting agencies, including Joint Commission. - Communicate and interact with NorthKey staff and outside vendors/contractors in a customer friendly, professionally appropriate manner. - Communicate effectively and appropriately with supervisor. - Assist Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor and Safety Officer with property inspections, safety drills, and other facilities activities QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS - High school diploma or GED required. - Experience in environmental services, housekeeping, and/or maintenance work. - Be reliable and dependable to show up to work on time. - Ability to work in the evenings/overnight/3rd shift. - Ability to follow written and oral instructions. - Ability to assume responsibilities and work independently with minimal supervision. - Possesses strong customer service and communication skills. - Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds. - Ability to drive a motor vehicle, and possess a valid driver’s license. - Ability to be on-call in case of emergency. - Ability to work flexible hours.
