Chitown Property Services, a quickly growing maintenance and renovation company, is seeking a proactive, responsible, and reliable person to address maintenance and renovation projects, working hand-in-hand with our director of operations.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to be a self-starter working independently and in a team setting.
- Experienced and knowledgeable in construction and/or maintenance.
- Ability to be flexible to handle a wide variety of service requests and repairs (including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, welding, etc.).
- Good at troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Excellent communications skills with outstanding customer service and client/tenant relations.
- Own modern smart phone and proficient at using email, text, and apps for business purposes.
- Valid drivers license.
Job Responsibilities:
- Efficient management of incoming service requests.
- Assist in the creation of estimates and proposals for new projects.
- Work closely with property manager and Director of Maintenance and Development to help coordinate and complete work tasks/projects.
- Call and coordinate with tenants to set times to access apartments to make repairs.
- Complete apartment make-ready projects and other renovation/maintenance projects as needed.
- Quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Professional manner in dealing with our clients/tenants.
Job Type:
Job Type: Full time employment.
Wage: $27-$30/hour based on experience and pace of training.
