My mom just found an adorable gray-eyed kitten in her possum trap... then found three more kittens under the backyard shed, along with the momma cat. The mother is a "neighborhood cat" -- not feral, but semi-stray. I haven't gotten close enough to the entire kitten family to tell which are male and which are female, but they're incredibly cute, vibrant, playful, and full of great kitten energy. Please give my mom a call if you're in the Houma area and are looking for a new pet. (I told her that the kittens are so cute, that they'll go like hotcakes on Craigslist, to which she replied, "What's Craigslist?" But she knows her phone number is posted, along with a few pictures, so phone calls and texts will be fine.)
