This sweet girl is in need of a wonderful home. She was abandonded on a busy road during a storm and took shelter in my car. I have contacted animal control in my area but they are at max capacity. The humane societies that I’ve contacted are only taking dogs from animal control…. She’s been with me for a week and I would love to find her perfect home. I’ve been calling her Darla and she’s a Jack Russell Terrier/ Rat Terrier mix. She loves to cuddle and follow you around everywhere. She’s terrified of loud noises, thunderstorms, and dogs with a lot of energy. I think she would do best in a home with no other dogs OR a home with an older quieter dog. She’s very quiet and potty trained. She will need her vaccinations updated (not sure if it’s ever been done) and she will need to be spayed as well (no spay scar or visible tattoo). Not sure how she would be with cats or children. Like I stated before, I’ve only had her for a week. She’s not in any danger of going to the pound. She will have an adoption fee to make sure she’s going to a great home...
