Bars gets along with other cats and dogs, but Bars might do better in a single cat household just because he is a little shy. From the owner- "Bars is 3 year old mix (white/brown tabby), Male (neutered), rescue, no medical records. Bars is very sweet and very gentle, but also very shy. We think he was probably abused or had a tough time of it on the street at some point when he was a kitten. He has no behavior problems other than being a scaredy-cat who is nervous around new people, and loves belly rubs when he gets to know you. Despite appearing nervous all the time he has literally never scratched or acted aggressive. He is quite fat and loves to eat". I also have Ruben, who looks black but is really dark grey. Male, 7 years old and neutered, has medical records. From the owner- "Once Ruben gets comfortable he is super cuddly, friendly and affectionate. Appears to be indifferent to children". I also have Larry. He's 9 years old, neutered and vaccinated. Has a grey/white tuxedo look. He's shy in foster care and doesn't like loud noises. He let me pet him just now after a few weeks of being here. His owner was able to pet him but it took him a long time to come around. Gets along with other cats. Spends most of the day hiding. I also have Tony and Smokey. 2 brown tabbie cats need to be rehomed together as a pair. 11 years old, male. They are brothers. Tony and Smokey. Very friendly. Neutered and recently vaccinated. I also have Katherine, a friendly calico. She gets along with some cats, but not with others. Currently she lives indoors but is not getting along with one of the three cats there. We think she needs to be indoor/outdoors. She used to be indoor/outdoor at her prior home and did better that way. Neutered, up to date with rabies vaccine. 13 years old.
