Description

Join a Walla Walla neighborhood walking group in the W. Pine Street area. This group will walk 2-3 miles at a moderate pace Join one of our Walking Moais. A moai is a group of like-minded people who gather for a similar purpose - like walking! At the initial walk on September 16th your leader will collect the group's information and lead walks for 10 more weeks. The group will meet in the Tommy's Dutch Lunch parking lot. Don't worry if you can't make every one, just try to walk at least 6 times. This group will walk between 2 - 3 miles at a moderate pace. If this is too fast or too slow for you, check out one of our other walking moai opportunities to find the right fit for you! After your 10 weeks of walks, we will have a celebration for your team! Don't worry, you don't have to stop walking after the 10 weeks are over. You can stay together or join another moai if you like. Babies in strollers, kids who can keep up, and friendly dogs are welcome! Get to know new friends and neighbors, be held accountable to get out of the house, and start walking with us today! Explore the habits that help people live longer, better with Blue Zones Project. Join us for free, community-wide events, where you’ll learn about Blue Zones Project and how it is helping Walla Walla Valley residents connect, eat wisely, move naturally, and adopt the right outlook.
