Topaz Farm proudly announces Colin Meloy for an intimate show under the gorgeous, massive Topaz Farm Historic Oak Tree on Sauvie Island! Tickets go on sale Friday, August 20 at 10 a.m. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a Harvest Fest live music show at the most magical place on the farm, while enjoying local food and drinks. Doors open at 5 p.m. Show starts at 6:30 p.m. All ages. PLEASE REVIEW OUR COVID-19 POLICY BEFORE PURCHASING TICKETS. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of the event is required for entry for ALL ages. ABOUT COLIN MELOY Colin Meloy is frontman and songwriter for The Decemberists and an author. The Decemberists formed in Portland, OR in 2000 when Meloy relocated from Missoula, MT, after graduating from the University of Montana. Since that time, the Grammy-nominated band have released eight albums including their latest, I’ll Be Your Girl, which was released in March 2018 on Capitol Records. WEBSITE INSTAGRAM ABOUT TOPAZ FARM Topaz Farm is a working 130-acre family farm for every family, featuring u-pick berries u-cut flowers, a farm stand store, food, beverages and special events. In addition to weekly farm-to-plate dinners and live music festivals in summer, in fall there is also a pumpkin patch, corn maze, hay rides and harvest festivals. Before the show, come early to visit the animals and farm stand, walk the farm, enjoy the corn maze - or have a drink at the farm bar or choose from fresh and prepared food from the farm stand. Food, beer, cider, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available in the oak tree area. WEBSITE INSTAGRAM FACEBOOK The Harvest Fest music series is also raising money to support the Sauvie Island Center, which is dedicated to teaching kids about food, farming, and the land, and has a teaching plot on Topaz Farm. THE FINE PRINT: Proof of full vaccination (two weeks since second dose) or proof of a negative COVID-19 test (within 48 hours of the event) is required for entry to show area. This applies to all attendees of all ages and likely will require advance planning and scheduling to receive the results prior to show. Sorry, home tests are not allowed. If you are at-risk or are not comfortable being outdoors around others who are unmasked, we recommend that you do not attend this event. The event is outside and there is plenty of room to observe social distancing. We encourage attendees to wear masks while entering and while purchasing food, drinks, or merchandise. Ticket price is per person, ages three and up. Parking is free.The farm opens at 9 a.m., oak tree area opens at 5 p.m. and show starts at 6:30 p.m.Beach towels, small blankets, small, personal-sized umbrellas (for use pre-show) and single size, low-profile lawn chairs (not exceeding 8 inches from the ground to the bottom of the seat and no higher than 32 inches total from the ground to the top of the chair) are allowed. Outside food and beverages (except water) are not permitted and no smoking of any kind is allowed. A water refill station is available.No animals are allowed except registered service animals.WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE THE SHOW Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy an evening on Sauvie Island for live music under the Topaz Farm Historic Oak Tree, the most magical place on the farm.
