Full Time Lawn & Garden Small Engine Service Technician Chappell Tractor Sales, LLC has a full time opening in our Service Department located in Milford, NH for a Lawn & Garden Small Engine Service Technician. This position involves servicing, tuning up and repairing walk behind mowers, zero-turn mowers, riding lawn mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, cut-off saws, blowers, water pumps, generators, snow blowers and small engine overhaul. It also includes assembling and preparing sold units for delivery with occasional road service and customer pick-up and deliveries. Providing technical support to customers in person and on the telephone. Products serviced are Ferris, Scag, Honda, Stihl, Kubota and Husqvarna including Tecumseh, Briggs & Stratton, Kubota, Kohler and Kawasaki small engines. To be considered for this position, candidates must have prior experience working as a service technician in a small engine or outdoor power equipment service department performing the job functions described above. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable with all major mechanical and electrical systems found in this equipment and have attended the manufacturers training schools for the products listed above. Experience overhauling small engines is a plus.
