Simply put, I'm trying to find some guys in my local area who (like me) are tired of playing with themselves and just want to make some noise. Good noise? Bad noise? Guess we'll see. Bout me, I'm in my 30s, a bassist, turned guitarist, turned vocalist, who owns a keyboard. Lots of experience as a working musician. I play by ear and always have, so if my renditions of certain songs offend your sensibilities cause that's not "HoW tHeY pLaYeD iT" well that's just too bad. Not looking to start the next big thing, or anything serious for that matter. If you want to "bang on the drum", "turn up the radio", or "dance the night away" then I'll "talk to ya later" You may go if you wish. But remember this: Walk away now and you walk away from your crafts, your skills, your vocations; leaving the next generation with nothing but recycled, digitally-sampled techno-grooves, quasi-synth rhythms, pseudo-songs of violence-laden gangsta-rap, acid pop, and simpering, saccharine, soulless slush.
