His new record CONSEQUENCE follows a love affair from the bottom of the bottle to the climax of something new. Ben Powell writes songs that merge simplicity with complexity. The intricate details of his guitar playing and the twisting structure of his songs exist to serve the message and mood of the lyrics and melody. Drawing inspiration from songwriters Joni Mitchell, Evan Stephens Hall, Phoebe Bridgers, and Adrienne Lenker, as well as from jazz and traditional folk music, Ben creates music that pulls you in and keeps you guessing. PINK ECHO is a jazz-influenced indie rock band based out of Western Massachusetts.
