Join DC's community of Reform 20s and 30s for a Metro Minyan-style High Holy Days experience. We are super excited to host our 2239-only Erev Rosh Hashanah and Kol Nidre services at Union Market District! Join 2239 to welcome in the new year with community, singing, and, of course, great food. Services will be held outside at Union Market District's Dock 5. To help ensure the health and safety of everyone praying with us, Dock 5 is an open-air venue. Should we get some New Year rain, we will move to an area that is still outside with well-circulated air, though covered and with walls on three sides. All the Logistics Transportation: Union Market District offers free parking and is a short walk from the NoMa-Gallaudet Metro. Dinner: We invite you to visit Union Market for dinner before services. We're working with some of the market's best vendors to offer special menu items for the 2239 community. Stay tuned for more info on the best places to nosh! Health: For the health and safety of our community, masks are required at this event. More celebrating: For young professionals looking for the full High Holy Days experience, 2239 will have a special block of seats at Washington Hebrew's congregational services for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur mornings. Get your tickets today! L'shana tova - may you have a happy and a sweet new year! With a growing network of more than 3,000 people, 2239 is a fantastic way for young Jewish adults between the ages of 22 and 39 to meet one another and deepen their Jewish identity. Whatever you're looking for, 2239 has it all. Looking for Shabbat? Our monthly Metro Minyan Shabbat community meets on the 4th Friday of every month at different Metro-accessible locations throughout the D.C. area. Looking for opportunities to give back? With the help of the TOV Fund, 2239 engages in cutting-edge social action projects in Washington, D.C. and around the country to lend a hand to people and communities in need. Looking for a social outlet? Happy hours, Nationals games, wine tasting trips, and other social events are fantastic opportunities to meet new people and have a great time. Our annual Purim Ball and 2239 Passover Seder are fun, inclusive, and enriching opportunities to celebrate holidays with D.C.'s young Jewish community. Whether you've been in the D.C. area for years or are just arriving, we're excited to help you find your Jewish community.
