This therapeutically charged group will tackle mental health, wellness approaches, and introspection surrounding the female experience. We live in a world where women are tasked with fulfilling boundless roles: To build fulfilling careers, to care for others, to always be “on”. Women Connect is a safe and open space where local women gather together and dedicate time to care for themselves. This therapeutically charged group will tackle topics such as mental health, wellness approaches, and encourage introspection surrounding the female experience. Participants are encouraged to reflect, relax, and be a support for their fellow women. All are welcome. Some Topics Covered: Connection & Support Self-Discovery Work Inner Critic & Self-talk Building Resiliency Through Self-Care Anxiety & Depression Exploring Codependency Body Image Through the Female Lens Women Connect gathers every Thursday from 5:30pm-7pm at NJ Center for the Healing Arts. Cost for group is $20 per session, reservation available through Eventbrite or cash in person. In addition to general psychotherapy, couples, marriage and family therapy, we address multicultural issues, including sexual diversity. Our child and adolescent services division incorporates the use of many modalities, including art, play, and sand tray therapies.
