Join The Pleasant Bee, Bee Downtown, Honeygirl Meadery, and our 35+ vendors in celebration of National Honey Bee Day on August 21.
We’re beyond excited to have you join us for one of the “sweetest” Saturday mornings. Join The Pleasant Bee, Bee Downtown, Honeygirl Meadery, and our 35+ vendors in celebration of National Honey Bee Day on August 21 from 8 a.m.—noon.
There are over 20,000 bee species in the world and honey bees are the only bee species that make a food that humans can consume – honey! Plus honey bees pollinate most of the food we eat every day!
Enjoy a market buzzing about honey bees with these fun activities:
* Coloring station for the kids – enter your picture to win a free mini honey bear!
* Free pollinator seed packets – planting flowers is the best way for you to save the bees
* Ask a Beekeeper Q&A
* See the bees in action with a live observation hive
* Delicious honey tasting. Explore specialty honeys while learning the difference between monofloral honeys and polyfloral honeys.
* Mead (honey wine) samples for those 21 and up from Honeygirl Meadery.
