A Grand Slam evening of sports-themed fun and fundraising to benefit the IWBC! Join us for a Grand Slam evening of sports-themed fun!Original players from the AAGPBL, Shirley Burkovitch and Maybelle Blair, who dazzled WWII crowds of spectators, will be on hand to sign autographs along with Rockford Peaches bat girls from the early 50s. Its the eve of the 30th Anniversary of the original A League of Their Own movie from 1992 with a new Amazon TV series of the same name currently in production. It's time to celebrate the rich history of the Peaches as we help launch IWBC's Capital Campaign to build a $10 million indoor/outdoor museum and activity center for Rockford and the world! The evening of fundraising includes a 50/50 raffle, wine and liquor cooler drawings and an on-line auction of sports memorabilia.
